Professional Background:
As a freelance Site Engineer, I bring to the table over 17 years of rich experience in building and civil engineering. My journey in the field has equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the various facets of engineering, from site surveying and planning to on-ground construction and quality checks.
Education:
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Civil Engineering, Level 6 and a ProQual Degree in Engineering Surveying at Level 4. This solid educational footing, combined with my unwavering commitment to hands-on experience, has been instrumental in refining my professional expertise.
Certifications: To complement my education and work experience, I have also pursued several industry-recognized certifications:
- CSCS card – Civil Engineer
- MRICS – Engineering Surveyor
- CITB (SSSTS) – Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme

Skills: My technical skills are wide-ranging, with proficiency in using surveying tools like Total Stations, GPS-RTK, and Laser Level, as well as software tools including AutoCAD, ArchiCad, and BIM. I have developed a strong grasp of setting out methods, and am adept at resolving unexpected technical difficulties that may arise during the construction process.
Experience: My professional journey has seen me take on diverse projects. From being instrumental in the building of a link road in Swindon for Fox Owmby Ltd to setting out the foundations for houses and garages at Redrow’s 500 Chiswick High Road site in London, each project has enriched my experience and honed my problem-solving abilities.
