By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website. A quotation, engagement letter, order or other written contract for professional services takes priority where it conflicts with these website terms.
3. Online calculators and tools
Our tools are provided for general assistance and preliminary calculation. They do not replace professional judgement, site verification, project specifications, statutory requirements or independent checking.
- You are responsible for the accuracy, coordinate system, units and suitability of all inputs.
- You must independently verify outputs before design, setting-out, construction, safety-critical or commercial use.
- A tool labelled as a plane-coordinate transformation does not perform OSTN15, OSGB36 or latitude/longitude conversion unless expressly stated.
- You are responsible for retaining copies of any results you need.
4. Permitted use
You may use the website and free tools for lawful personal or internal business purposes. You must not misuse the website, interfere with security or availability, introduce malicious code, scrape it at unreasonable scale, attempt unauthorised access, or use it to infringe another personās rights.

Unless stated otherwise, the website, branding, text, design, software and original tool content belong to SITE-SURVEY BC LTD or its licensors. You may use tool outputs for your own lawful projects. You may not reproduce, resell, frame or commercially exploit the website or tools themselves without written permission.

We may maintain, improve, suspend or withdraw website features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. We may correct errors and update content or these terms when reasonably required.

Links and embedded third-party services are provided for convenience. We do not control their availability, content or privacy practices and do not endorse them merely by linking to them.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, the website and free tools are provided āas isā. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by inaccurate inputs, use without independent verification, incompatibility with a project coordinate system, loss of data, or reliance on general website content as professional advice.
If you use the website in the course of business, we will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings arising from website use. Liability relating to paid professional services is governed by the applicable written service agreement.

10. Future paid subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are not currently offered. Before subscriptions launch, the checkout and subscription terms will clearly state the price including applicable taxes, billing interval, included features, trial terms if any, contract duration, renewal arrangements, cancellation method and when access ends.
No recurring payment will be taken unless you expressly place an order. Subscription-specific terms presented at checkout will form part of the contract and will identify the payment provider. We will make cancellation reasonably straightforward and provide any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable consumer law.

12. Governing law

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent; we may transfer our rights where this does not reduce consumer protections.
