How to Use This Tool
Purpose: Convert angles between decimal degrees format and DMS (Degrees, Minutes, Seconds) format. Essential for surveying calculations and coordinate transformations.
Two conversion modes:
- Decimal → DMS: Enter a decimal angle (e.g., 25.36000) to get degrees, minutes, and seconds
- DMS → Decimal: Enter degrees, minutes, and seconds to get the decimal equivalent
Note: Results are automatically calculated and displayed with appropriate precision. Seconds are rounded to 2 decimal places for accuracy.
